                   Whether visitors come for a vacation, locals come to their summer                                                             cottage, or for anyone and everyone else, it is always a great place to                                     get away from it all, Sandy Pines, for many is truly, a home away from
home. For myself, Sandy Pines has been a second home for the past
19 years, as well as a place where have found myself working for the past
    our years, and the one place I love to talk about! Located in Hopkins,                                                        Michigan, Sandy Pines may not be known to everyone, but to those of us                                            who have been there, know what it has to offer, so here's your                                             chance to get to know a little bit more about Michigan's own little paradise.

                     The park was created about forty years ago, and my
                      grandparents were some of the first few people to see                                                                                                                                                it as a cornfield and an idea by a few imaginative people,
                                                                                       that would one day become a recreational park and an R.V. resort.

                            The park itself is made up of a few buildings that have been there for
                            a while, along with the lake that has been there since the beginning
                            creation of the park, but also of the a few new attractions. At Sandy
                            Pines there are two pools; one indoor and one outdoor, but before I forget,

I may also want to mention that there are also 3 more in the outdoor

water park! Along with the water park,there is a 262 acre lake, Monterey,

which is home to many types of fish and welcomes swimmers, boaters, and fishermen all season long.

*Buildings for VBS, meetings, bingo…
*and our newest attraction, the high ropes course
